- 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 0.5 onion, diced
- 0.5 teaspoon(s) sea salt
- 0.5 teaspoon(s) fresh ground black pepper
- 1 32oz can crushed tomatoes
- 0.5 teaspoon(s) oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon(s) thyme
Simple Marinara Sauce Directions
- Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and onions and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low to medium heat and toss in all other ingredients. Stir to combine.
- Simmer until slightly thickened, about 20 minutes.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep for about 1 week.
